Signs your siding needs work

What hail and wind do to siding
Hail hits siding hardest on the wall that faced the storm. Vinyl cracks and punctures, especially in cold weather when it is less flexible. Aluminum dents. A small crack can look like nothing from the driveway and still let water run behind the wall every time it rains.
Wind works under the bottom edge of a panel and unlocks it from the one below. A loose panel lets rain blow straight onto the sheathing, and the next storm can tear it off completely.
Checked with your roof

Repair or replace
When only a few pieces are damaged, we can often replace just those pieces. The catch is matching. Siding fades, and older profiles and colors get discontinued, so a new panel can stand out next to the old ones. We'll tell you straight whether a repair will blend in, or whether a full wall or the whole house is the better call. The photos make the choice yours.

Do you repair siding or only replace it?
Both. A few cracked or loose pieces can often be repaired. When the damage runs across a whole wall, or the siding is too old to match, replacing that wall or the whole house can make more sense. You see the photos and decide.
Can hail damage vinyl siding?
Yes. Hail cracks, chips and punches holes in vinyl, and it dents aluminum. The wall that faced the storm usually takes the worst of it.
Will insurance pay for my siding?
If a covered storm damaged it, your policy may pay to repair or replace it, minus your deductible. Your insurer decides coverage. We document the damage with photos so you know where you stand.
Can you do the roof, siding and gutters together?
Yes. One inspection covers all three, and one company handles the work, so you aren't coordinating three contractors.
Will you cover my deductible?
