Why we do it this way.
I've been around roofs since I was a teenager, working with my uncle. Before Rocket, I ran an epoxy flooring business until I got so allergic to the material I had to walk away from it.
Then I worked at Rocket Mortgage. Every day I talked to homeowners about their houses, their remodels and their refinances. And every day I heard about contractors: the ones who took a deposit and disappeared, the ones who said one thing and did another.
I figured if I could be an honest person and do what I say, I could build a good business in contracting. So in 2025 I started Rocket in Akron.
Here's how we work. We get on your roof and photograph everything. We sit down with you, show you every photo and lay out your options. You decide. No pressure, and no guessing over the phone.
