Who we are

Rocket Roofing, LLC ("Rocket," "we," "us") is a roofing and exterior contractor in Akron, OH 44333. This policy covers this website and the calls, text messages, and emails that follow from it.

What we collect

Information you give us: your name, phone number, email, property address, the service you need, and anything you type in a message or notes field.

Your text message choice: whether you checked the optional text message box on a form, and the date and time you sent the form.

Information collected automatically: your IP address and browser details, which our website host and the services that load on our pages receive when a page loads. This site uses Google for its fonts, for the video thumbnails on some pages, and for address suggestions and roof measurement in our forms and instant quote. The site also keeps how you found us, such as the page that referred you and the campaign tags in the link you clicked (for example UTM codes or ad click IDs), in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, so the form you send includes it.

Cookies: this site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them, we will update this policy first.

Project information: photos, measurements, insurance claim details, and financing preferences you share while working with us.

How we use it

To contact you about your request, schedule an inspection, and prepare your estimate.
To send the informational text messages you agreed to, and to honor STOP and HELP replies.
To perform and support the work you hire us for, including warranty registration and service.
To send you marketing emails, only if you agree to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
To understand which pages and ads bring in customers and to improve this website.
To meet legal, safety, and accounting obligations.

Text messages (SMS)

What we collect for texting: the mobile number you enter, whether you checked the text message box, and when. When we text you, our customer management system keeps the messages we send and your replies, including STOP and HELP.

How we use it: only to send informational text messages about your request, such as scheduling and service updates, and only if you check the text message box on a form. That box is optional and unchecked, and you can submit any form without it. We do not send marketing text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Who handles it: Netlify receives the form you send, and JobNimbus, our customer management system, keeps your contact record and your text message choice.

Your opt-in is never shared for marketing: text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes. See "Who we share it with" below.

When you send a form, we may also call you at the number you provide about your request. Our full text message terms are in our Terms of Service.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:

Service providers that run our business: Netlify (website hosting and forms), JobNimbus (customer management and text messages), and Google (fonts, video thumbnails, address suggestions, maps, and roof measurement).
Manufacturers, suppliers, and crews involved in your project, and manufacturers for warranty registration.
Your insurance company or adjuster, when you ask us to help with a claim.
Financing partners, only when you choose to apply for financing.
Authorities or others when required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep project and warranty records for as long as your warranty and our legal obligations require. We keep inquiry records that did not become projects for a reasonable period, then delete or anonymize them. We keep a record of your text message choice and any opt-out so we can honor it.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text, or ask us to stop calling. We will add you to our internal do-not-contact list.
Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing connor@callrocketroof.com or calling (330) 800-7947. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.
Block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
