Gutters ยท Akron and Northeast Ohio
Move the water. Protect the house.
Gutters carry hundreds of gallons off your roof in a single storm. When they sag, leak or overflow, that water ends up in your fascia, siding and foundation.

Signs your gutters need work
- Water spilling over the edge in heavy rain.
- Gutters sagging or pulling away from the fascia.
- Peeling paint, stains or rot behind the gutters.
- Puddles or erosion next to the foundation.
- Dents from hail, or seams that drip.
Checked at every inspection
While we're on your roof, we look at the gutters and downspouts too. Granules in the downspouts can point to hail damage on the roof, and dents tell a story about the last storm. You'll see it all in the photos.
Freeze-thaw and gutters
In Northeast Ohio winters, clogged gutters fill with ice. The weight pulls them off the house, and backed-up meltwater can push under the shingles. Gutters that drain freely are part of keeping your roof dry all winter.

Gutter questions
Do you install new gutters?
Yes. We install new gutters and repair existing ones.
Should I replace gutters with a new roof?
Often it makes sense to do both at once, especially if the gutters are old, damaged or pulling away. We'll show you their condition in the photos and you decide.
Can hail damage gutters?
Yes. Dents in gutters and downspouts are one of the easiest signs of hail to spot from the ground, and a good reason to have the roof checked too.
Why are my gutters overflowing?
Usually a clog, a sag that stops water from reaching the downspout, or gutters too small for the roof. We'll find out which one.

Pick a time. A Rocket roofer gets on your roof and photographs everything. Then we sit down with you, go over every photo and lay out your options. About an hour, and nothing to sign that day.
