What you are looking at
A brick home with a hip roof needs a clean outline, because every line of the roof is visible from the street. Here the four hips meet at a single ridge, and the shingles run evenly down each face.
Onyx Black gives the brick a strong frame. The deep color makes the red of the walls look richer, and it hides the shadows that fall across the roof from the trees nearby.
