THE MODEL, EXPLAINED

REAL PARTS. A CLEARER PICTURE.

This is an educational model of a house with a vented attic. Layer separation, material thicknesses, component positions, and airflow are simplified so you can see how the parts relate.

Rocket Roof Explorer shows generic architectural shingles. Colors are visual approximations, not manufacturer samples. Product details, framing, attachment, underlayment, and ventilation must be selected for the actual house and local requirements.

Confirm in your proposal notes describe what to confirm in your own proposal. They are not a product specification or a promise that every project includes a particular product.

The attic controls illustrate airflow and coverage. They do not predict temperatures, energy savings, ventilation sizing, or R-values. An unvented roof assembly needs a different design.

The Owens Corning and Quarrix pages supplied the anatomy and design-tool references. The readable manufacturer resources below support the component explanations. Model geometry and homeowner questions are original. No manufacturer endorsement is implied.
